Boots. Hmm.
I'm looking at the boot thing. I have a pair of pretty plain black boots. They're nice enough, except that they take forever to put on with the lace-up thing (often I have to spend time pulling the laces tight, lacing up the upper four 'hooks' and then tying off the laces, plus mine seems to slip loose easily). In short, they're a real pain to put on regularly.
I'm looking for boots I can wear regularly, not specialist kink-boots or anything (but punky one would probably be okay, if they're quite wearable-on-a-daily-basis punky boots). Right now, I'm looking at tanker boots (a friend mentioned their intersting easy-on buckling arrangement). I don't care as much about style (military-surplus, punk, regular old, whatever) as I do about functionality, I'll just decide whichever recommended boots look good.
I have men-size feet, so...
Anyone have any words on suggestions, or brands to stay away from, etc? What're reasonable and what're overpriced?
I know I have some boot-geeks among the people who've friended me. ;)
