...I've been virtually housebound helping my mom since she hurt her back so badly she can't do much lifting or bending down and has to rest a lot. I was barely going out, but at least I went out now and then.

I should arrange things so that my mom will for a while have all the needs she can't meet on her own, and go *somewhere*.
