I want a digital camera.

I want it for EBay photographing purposes, and for general possible uses. I want an affordable, reasonable quality one. That works with Linux. If you have no clue on that last point, just recommend a good camera. I'll research how well it works with Linux myself.

I have one of the 2 megapixel versions of this camera, and have bought the A205 for a friend. Its a good, basic camera with OPTICAL zoom. It shows up under most linux distros as a removable hard drive (USB).

Its light, responsive and uses standard AA cells.
My only serious criticism is that its flash is a litle weak.

I... haven't really tried enough cameras to tell. I like my Olympus alright, though it may be a bit overpriced for what it is (200-300 minimum at the low end).
