Okay, so I have a Planescape campaign about to start. It's about evil overlords, having successfully conquered their own planet, futilely trying to take over some staggeringly vast planes and such. ;) Only semi-serious.
Current characters:
A half-golem cyborg wizard-king who took over his own world with his teeming golem armies, in order to bring peace to it.
A famous atheist philosopher sorcerer with a preference for liberty, who only joined the wizard-king's propaganda wing because he seemed an improvement over the tyrant-theologists that had previously ruled.
A screwed up exile githyanki warrior-bard with a malign lute. And a mercenary army. Basically the one who enables the wizard-king's expansion onto the planes.
I have one more player slot, if anyone's interested. I'm only looking for people who can show up regularly to weekly scheduled online sessions.
I'm using FATE, a variation on Fudge. Largely because it's quite rules-lite (and easily allows for some fun narrative-altering tricks, potentially, which fits in with Planescape's somewhat malleable reality). Knowledge of Planescape isn't absolutely necessary - two out of the three characters are ignorant of the planes at large anyway.
EDIT: As a note, FATE isn't difficult to pick up from scratch.
EDIT 2: Okay, the slot's been filled. :)
