Give the no-gifts trend lately on my friends list
Christmas: I desire nothing. If you absolutely must, links/pointers to places online or in Pittsburgh where I can acquire really cool clothing for cheap will suffice. If you absolutely want to spend money on me, gift cards for such places will do. I'm not a big fan of compulsory gift-purchasing, so if you feel obliged, don't even bother. Though the only one reading this that is likely to feel obliged is my sister. ;)
But, honestly, just knowing about such places would be gift enough. I really do want to know. I'm phasing out my male wardrobe.
Going to tell my family I only want gift cards if anything. Lately, they've mostly been giving me money. That is a trend I like. It lets me do more discerning spending instead of having to deal with whatever they misguidedly but benevolently think is in my tastes.
That is all.
