Hollywood Faces

I really hate Hollywood's overexposure of certain favored face types, up to the point where those become banal. "Perfect" skin's become associated with Barbie Doll treatments rather than health, goddamnit. It doesn't help that many of them have eating disorders and such. Even the ones who naturally have that kind of face suffers from association with all those people who're aspiring for it via plastic surgery, follicle BDSM, and other such treatments.

If you must give us plastic people, Hollywood, please don't try to hide it. Give us fully and wholly plastic-looking people. Or rubber. Or glass or metal or other such things. It's not more artifical than what you're already giving us. :)

The fact that the FDA approved botulism toxin with a straight face (no pun intended) is sign enough that our (mainstream) culture is shot to hell.

Meanwhile, the thoroughly unglamorous and un-Hollywood "Maria Full Of Grace" has the hottest leading lady I've seen in years. Rowr.
